SAFEGUARDING THE ENVIROMENT

Gaon Gathana Samiti   organises tree plantation activities and inculcates the sense of responsibility among the young generation and women across Odisha..Since the inception of the Gaon Gathana Samiti,

we have planted thousands of trees in different District of Odisha like Cuttack,Jajpur,Khordha,Dhenkanal,Puri etc and we work towards implementing various programs on social forestry, and community forestry. We also aim to raise nurseries of various plants and to conduct various environmental awareness programs.

A planned initiative A programme can only be successful with excellent and complete planning. This year too, the Gaon Gathana Samiti has planned the 50 thousand tree plantation programme with precision.. Various works are planting trees on both sides of the road, greening of hillocks, plantation on the sides of canals and campuses of School and Colleges , making available manpower, finalisation of the locations for tree plantation, digging, making available quality saplings and others.
